October 2018. The Clúster de la Indústria d’Automoció de Catalunya (CIAC) has appointed Josep Nadal the new Manager of the entity, a role that will assume at the beginning of next November, taking over the position from his predecessor, Ferran Verdejo, who is "very fortunate for the opportunity to have been Manager of the CIAC and for the experience acquired in an entity that has grown in five years at cruising speed and, that without a doubt, has a great future". Verdejo, also expresses his gratitude for the support received from the Board of Directors in his time as Manager of the Cluster as well as the managers of the working commissions and the members of the entity, with whom he has maintained a close professional relationship.
Nadal has been for over two years the Project Manager of the CIAC, leading the CIAC’s own collaborative projects, promoted with the companies that are members of the entity. During that time, he has contributed with solutions to boost the CIAC’s and its members activity, through the creation of work dynamization tools, like the new digital project platform of the CIAC that fosters synergies between these companies.
The high degree of commitment, the excellent work done in the entity and his experience in other companies in the sector such as DOGA, where he was Product Manager at the forefront of the strategy for launching new products, as well as the integral management of projects and tailored solutions for clients, endorse him to lead the CIAC management and take its activity to the next level.
In this way, the entity’s new Manager poses the challenge of boosting the Cluster’s activity at a European level, as well as continuing the working line of the Cluster’s activity based on promoting the automotive industry in our country. “We have to continue with the influence task of the CIAC, but we also have to take a step forward and look more towards Europe. The CIAC in one of the last clusters that were established in our country, but in only five years, we have positioned ourselves as one of the most important of the Spanish territory, and consequently, we have a lot of potential to position ourselves as a reference in the sector at a European level".
